What you will do

• Lead the facilities team in executing daily maintenance tasks and fulfilling client requests.
• Coordinate with service providers, including janitorial, plumbing, and other maintenance vendors.
• Perform and oversee regular checks and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Manage the work order system and re-assign tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Enforce safety standards, including fire protection, hazardous materials handling, and ladder safety.
• Support department moves and furniture re-configurations as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 6+ years of experience in facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Must be available Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Must be able to work on-site in Alameda, CA.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong communication skills to interact with employees, contractors, and suppliers.
