What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Execute repairs, painting, and structural upkeep throughout the hotel premises.
• Conduct visual inspections and operational tests on machinery and equipment.
• Assist with the delivery and setup of furniture and guest-facing equipment.
• Address guest inquiries and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the Operations and Guest Experience teams to maintain high quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City, NY
• Previous experience as a hotel engineer or in building maintenance.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand or walk for up to 8 hours daily.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and learning new software systems.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

• 2+ years of hotel or guest service experience.
• Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
