Lead Facilities Tech - Swing (Medtech)

TL;DR

Lead Facilities Tech (Medtech): Performing and leading the general repair and maintenance of company facilities and grounds with an accent on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Focus on coordinating service providers, managing work requests, and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Location: On-site in Alameda, CA. Must be available Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 8:30 PM.

Salary: $40.00 – 47.00 per hour plus 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Lead facilities technicians in executing repair and maintenance tasks to fulfill client requests.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems, including electrical and plumbing.
• Manage the work order system to coordinate and re-assign tasks for timely completion.
• Oversee the work of external vendors such as janitorial, plumbing, and other facilities services.
• Coordinate employee moves and furniture re-configurations.
• Enforce safety standards and adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Requirements

• High School diploma with 6+ years of experience in facility maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and Data).
• Must be located in or be able to work on-site in Alameda, CA.
• Ability to work the swing shift: Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 8:30 PM.
• Proficiency with standard powered and non-powered tools and ability to work on ladders.
• Knowledge of general industry safety orders and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
