Technology Managing Consultant (Private Equity)

Location: Boston, MA; travel as required. Must be able to verify legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

What you will do

• Create differentiated technology consulting offerings informed by market demand.
• Deliver advisory services for technology-enabled business change, including package and third-party integrator selection, vendor selection, application studies, solution architecture studies, and program diagnostics and recovery.
• Advise IT functions and senior technology leaders, including Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, and Chief Digital Officers.
• Support market growth by leveraging relationships, winning work, and contributing to onshore consulting engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Technology Consultant, Business Analyst, or in a related IT position.
• At least 5 years of experience designing processes and systems within supply chain planning, including sales and operations planning, demand planning, inventory planning, and production planning.
• At least 4 years of experience defining parameters and performing financial qualification and quantification of business cases for systems implementation and process transformation.
• At least 4 years of experience setting up and executing a value realization office for supply chain processes.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to verify legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience designing technology strategy and performing technology diligence.
• Experience with ERP implementations, FP&A system implementations, business intelligence and data warehouse implementations, technology integrations in M&A, and carve-out situations.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or Adaptive.
• Finance knowledge.
