Technology Consulting Manager (ERP)

Location: Southfield, Michigan, United States; principally in-person work model. The position requires travel and supports clients throughout the Southeast region.

Salary: $114,000–$145,000 base salary annually for the role in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Lead multiple public sector consulting engagements, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Advise client executives and oversee ERP assessments, software selections, implementation oversight, IV&V, project management, and post-production support.
• Facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, stakeholder workshops, and client presentations.
• Build executive stakeholder relationships, support account growth, and contribute to client satisfaction and retention across the Southeast region.
• Support proposals, conferences, thought leadership, market strategies, and public sector go-to-market initiatives.
• Coach consultants, support recruiting and onboarding, and contribute to performance and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 7–10 years of consulting, public sector, ERP, project management, technology transformation, or related experience.
• Experience leading large, complex projects, client relationships, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, presentation, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with state and local governments, utilities, K–12 school districts, or higher education institutions is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP modernization platforms such as Oracle, Workday, Tyler Technologies, or SAP.
• Master’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
