Enterprise Systems Practitioner

What you will do

• Lead sell-side and buy-side technology diligence engagements for private equity, M&A, and portfolio-company clients.
• Evaluate ERP, warehouse, WMS, CRM, PSA, infrastructure, cloud, data, controls, and managed-service environments.
• Assess end-to-end processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, recruit-to-retire, project-to-cash, and IT service management.
• Identify process, system, data, supplier, control, scalability, and cost risks through evidence review, process walkthroughs, interviews, and operating metrics.
• Translate findings into concise conclusions for investors, boards, executives, and management teams.
• Develop post-close systems roadmaps, support vendor selection and delivery governance, and contribute to methods, benchmarks, training, and service development.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise systems, IT operations, technology leadership, systems transformation, or transaction advisory.
• Experience leading multiple sell-side, buy-side, or comparable rapid technology assessments.
• Leadership-level knowledge of ERP and warehouse systems, PSA, CRM, traditional infrastructure, and managed services, with deep experience in at least two areas.
• Experience assessing and delivering business-process or systems outcomes, transformation programs, budgets, service providers, or IT operations.
• Experience with traditional and hybrid infrastructure, packaged-application cloud migrations, and MSP or MSSP selection, transition, management, or renegotiation.
• Strong analytical, financial, written, verbal, and stakeholder-management skills, with a self-directed and hands-on approach to remote client engagements.

Nice to have

• Former CIO, VP of IT, Head of Enterprise Applications, enterprise systems program leader, technology operating partner, or senior M&A technology advisor.
• Experience in professional services, technology-enabled services, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Experience with Salesforce, professional-services platforms, WMS, warehouse operations, or eCommerce.
• Experience converting diligence findings into roadmaps, vendor selections, implementation governance, or interim leadership assignments.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
