Director, Strategic Sourcing - Marketing & Corporate Services

Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California

Base pay: Mountain View $247,000–$334,000; San Diego $235,000–$318,000 annually, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end category strategy and execution across Media, Agency, Events, Content Production, Facilities, Professional Services, Contingent Labor, and Benefits.
• Design data-driven sourcing strategies balancing cost, speed, quality, innovation, and enterprise growth.
• Lead complex global negotiations, manage supplier risk, and optimize strategic supplier relationships.
• Advise VP-level and senior stakeholders across Marketing, Customer Success, Corporate Services, and Finance.
• Manage approximately $5B in spend and lead a workforce of more than 30 full-time employees and 37 contract workers.
• Develop the sourcing organization while improving processes, compliance, analytics, automation, and decision speed.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or commercial leadership experience.
• 5+ years of management experience, including recruiting, mentoring, developing, and retaining strategic sourcing talent.
• Global-scale expertise in Marketing and Corporate Services categories, including Media, Agency, Professional Services, or Contingent Labor.
• Strong financial acumen and experience leading complex, high-value negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience championing AI and automation in sourcing.
• Executive communication skills and the ability to influence VP-level and senior stakeholders.
