Director, Sourcing & Procurement

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $190,000–$237,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus, stock, benefits, and other variable compensation.

hirify.global is a biopharmaceutical oncology company developing investigational therapies and conducting global Phase 3 clinical studies in non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer.

What you will do

• Partner with Clinical Operations as a procurement lead throughout clinical study planning, startup, execution, and closeout.
• Develop category and supplier strategies across clinical operations, clinical trial supplies, and related R&D categories.
• Lead competitive sourcing for CROs, central laboratories, imaging, eClinical technology, patient recruitment, investigator payments, logistics, and clinical supply vendors.
• Translate study requirements, timelines, enrollment assumptions, and supply needs into sourcing plans and vendor solutions.
• Negotiate and review MSAs, SOWs, work orders, rate cards, pricing models, service levels, and other commercial terms.
• Establish vendor governance through business reviews, KPIs, SLAs, risk mitigation, issue escalation, and continuous improvement plans.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required; a relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or finance within pharmaceutical, CRO, biotech, or clinical R&D environments.
• Strong understanding of drug development, global clinical trial execution, CROs, central laboratories, imaging, drug supply, CMC vendors, and ancillary suppliers.
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH, and regulatory expectations for outsourced clinical activities; oncology experience is preferred.
• Experience with procurement or contract management systems such as Ariba or Coupa, as well as strong computer and database skills.
• Ability to solve problems independently, manage competing priorities, collaborate cross-functionally, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Veeva Vault, electronic document management systems, and document review tools.
• Oncology experience.
• Relevant graduate degree.
