Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Technology

Location: Onsite in either the Burbank, California office or the San Francisco, California office

Salary: $168,200–$205,400 per year in Burbank; $184,200–$200,000 per year in San Francisco. Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be provided.

What you will do

• Develop and execute technology category strategies that deliver savings, value, risk mitigation, and business impact.
• Lead complex sourcing engagements from intake through supplier assessment, competitive bidding, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, renewals, and supplier management.
• Use market intelligence, spend data, financial analysis, and total-cost-of-ownership frameworks to guide sourcing decisions.
• Improve sourcing policies, processes, tools, governance standards, performance measurement, and compliance reporting.
• Build strategic relationships with Technology, Finance, Sourcing, business stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Lead, coach, and manage the Technology Sourcing team, including three or more direct reports.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing teams in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• 3–5+ years of technology category management experience, including category strategy development and implementation.
• Experience sourcing technology categories such as SaaS, hardware, telecom, cloud, network infrastructure, IT security, data analytics, AI tools, and managed or professional services.
• Deep expertise in supplier management, competitive RFXs, bid strategy, complex negotiations, contract management, SLAs, risk management, and large technology spend portfolios.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, technology, business, or a related area, or equivalent experience; ability to lead geographically dispersed and virtual teams.

Nice to have

• Internal or external business consulting experience.
• Experience in television, media, entertainment, multinational, or technology companies.
• MBA or another quantitative discipline.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
