What you will do

• Analyze reliability and availability of solar plus storage hardware and components.
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and lead major repairs at operational sites.
• Establish best practices for hardware configuration and maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Perform life cycle cost modeling of project design to inform equipment selection.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to design modifications and remediation plans.
• Conduct Job Safety Assessments and Safety Walks to identify site hazards.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 2+ years professional experience in engineering focused on equipment reliability.
• Experience with root cause and failure modes analysis methods.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding equipment and facility schematics.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. to support PV solar and BESS assets.
• Strong commitment to a quality safety culture and incident-free environment.

Nice to have

• PE qualifications or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Experience with PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design and interconnection.
• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Spanish language skills.
