Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to a hirify.global hub (San Francisco, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago) and work from the office 3+ days a week.

Salary: $188,000 - $221,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, partnership, and data provider contracts.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Revenue teams, providing risk-based guidance to close deals efficiently.
• Develop and optimize commercial templates, playbooks, and internal processes to enable legal scaling.
• Research and analyze laws impacting the business, with a specific focus on the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
• Collaborate cross-functionally and manage outside counsel on various commercial matters.

Requirements

• JD and active membership in good standing of the California Bar.
• 3+ years of experience negotiating commercial agreements, preferably in-house at a high-growth technology company.
• Deep understanding of liability, indemnification, risk allocation, data protection, and privacy.
• Ability to translate complex legal risks into clear guidance for non-lawyers and senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
