Senior Accountant (SEC Reporting)

What you will do

• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and draft MD&A for quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Ensure financial integrity and completeness in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors, legal, and investor relations to ensure accurate external reporting.
• Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements applicable to the company.
• Partner with international teams to prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with local requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation of ESG disclosures and government financial surveys.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and US GAAP.
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Ability to work in the office 4+ days per week in Los Angeles.

Nice to have

• CPA License or currently in progress.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm or Fortune 500 company with an emphasis on external reporting.
• Experience using Workiva.
• Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive impact.
