Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Location: Folsom, California, United States; office-based role

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and support civil and water/wastewater resource planning and design projects.
• Design levees, water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, and related infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses.
• Prepare figures, maps, and graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Prepare technical reports and memoranda.
• Communicate with staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers across multiple formats.

Requirements

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE registration in California or the ability to obtain it within one year.
• 4–7 years of civil engineering experience focused on water/wastewater projects.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of potable water system design, including water treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks.
• Experience with wastewater, storm drain system design, water/wastewater system planning, master plans, or hydraulic modeling.
