What you will do

• Lead and develop multiple AI engineering and innovation groups, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Partner with business and technology leaders to define AI priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
• Mentor and coach technical talent, including the management of other managers and squad leads.
• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle of AI initiatives from concept through production to ensure quality and reliability.
• Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and team capacity to execute critical initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 8-10 years of experience delivering AI or software engineering initiatives.
• Proven experience in formal people management, specifically managing other managers or squad leads.
• Hands-on programming background in Java and/or Python.
• Experience in Software Architecture (MSA, SOA) and DevSecOps/CI/CD pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience building and leading engineering squads on GCP.
