What you will do

• Act as senior technical authority in data architecture, analytics, monitoring, and system design; define and execute technical roadmap.
• Drive execution, innovation, process improvement, change management, and scale R&D team using state-of-the-art AI tools.
• Design engineering processes for reliability, velocity, quality; champion data quality, validation, and analytics practices.
• Serve as technical interface to product management and customers, translating needs into development strategies.
• Lead local team, collaborate with remote/distributed teams, foster collaborative, data-driven culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing team leads in Director or Head of R&D role; experience growing R&D at startup/high-growth tech.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and alignment with remote teams.
• Strong data engineering, analytics, data science; cloud-native architectures (GCP preferred), scaling systems, CI/CD.
• Excellent English (spoken/written) for global teams, customers; strong communication to align stakeholders.
• Hands-on, strategic mindset; passion for AI-driven products.
