Software Engineer II (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications, services, and .NET libraries using C# and ASP.NET.
• Analyze documented requirements to estimate development timelines and oversee deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues within the production environment.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers and business users to facilitate testing and issue resolution.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot for efficient coding and ensure code coverage through automated unit tests.
• Maintain expertise in system development methodologies and their impact on business solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with O/R Mapping (NHibernate) and Dependency Injection frameworks.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with RESTful principles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Development experience in the financial sector, specifically with ACH file processing, Fedwire/SWIFT wire processing, or bond accounting.
