What you will do

• Design and develop robust applications using Scala, TypeScript, and C#.
• Utilize AI-first tools like Claude Code to research approaches and accelerate development.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of code, including quality assurance, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate within an agile team to improve development processes and system architecture.
• Apply expertise in messaging, data at scale, and CI/CD pipelines to maintain high-performance systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 4+ years of experience developing applications with object-oriented or functional languages.
• Strong grasp of programming techniques, security, and distributed system architecture.
• Experience with AI-first coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot.
• Ability to take ownership of work and complete tasks without close oversight.
• Experience mentoring team members and participating in code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scala, cats, or other functional programming tools.
• Knowledge of payment rails like ACH or other secure financial systems.
• Experience with event-driven microservices and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with TDD, paired programming, or mobbing practices.
