• Develop and execute technical strategies for the Banking organization in collaboration with product and business leads.
• Drive cross-cutting architectural decisions and infrastructure improvements to ensure system robustness and scalability.
• Contribute directly to technical designs and maintain hands-on code contributions.
• Mentor and coach engineers to increase their technical breadth and depth.
• Implement an AI-first mindset to raise the bar of AI application across the team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading large-scale features from planning through execution.
• Proven ability to design and build creative solutions to complex, high-scale problems.
• Strong track record of mentoring other engineers.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Kotlin, AWS, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
• Knowledge of Hibernate, Aurora, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Kafka.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Proficiency with DataDog, Buildkite, and Gradle.
