What you will do

• Build and maintain end-to-end customer data infrastructure, including event pipelines and source integrations.
• Drive the tooling strategy for the collection layer and CDP, currently utilizing RudderStack.
• Establish and govern instrumentation standards for how product and web events are structured and validated.
• Take ownership of identity resolution and attribution to ensure a reliable picture of user journeys across multiple channels.
• Design tracking infrastructure that adheres to PHI compliance and consent management requirements in healthcare.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, BI, and product to optimize data collection and funnel reliability.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or a STEM field with experience as a data engineer at a staff level or higher.
• Hands-on experience building and rationalizing production event collection and customer data infrastructure.
• Proven experience evaluating, implementing, or migrating Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• Expertise in privacy-compliant tracking and consent management, including server-side tagging.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL.
• Must be located in Canada, the US, or the UK.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Looker.
• Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
