Data Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Develop and deploy scalable and elegant code for data infrastructure.
• Build and manage distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines.
• Lead and drive complex data projects from design through production.
• Innovate creative solutions for difficult data processing problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure platform scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Flink, Beam, or similar large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python or other OOP languages.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large-scale critical production systems with minimum SLAs of 99.99% (4 9's).
