What you will do

• Lead and empower an engineering team to deliver high-quality technical solutions and business impact.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard a diverse team of high-performing engineers.

• Drive strategic direction and product decisions for the platform team.
• Collaborate on engineering-wide initiatives as part of the management team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct management experience with an engineering team of at least 6 members.
• Hands-on experience building and operating production cloud platforms using Kubernetes/CNCF ecosystems in the public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) and CI/CD (GitOps).
• Operational rigor across incident response, observability, networking, identity, compute, and storage at scale.
• Proven ability to establish a vision, set goals, and execute effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools like Karpenter, Keda, Flux, cert-manager, and ExternalDNS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.
