What you will do

• Manage and coach a team of 3+ security software engineers, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
• Define, write, and execute the platform security roadmap.
• Secure complex, high-scale systems serving millions of users.
• Build and maintain security within cloud-based environments using GCP, Cloudflare, and AWS.
• Develop and implement agentic AI and modern AI security practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a people manager for security software engineers.
• 3+ years of experience securing systems with millions of users.
• Expertise in reasoning about the security of complex systems and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in a general-purpose language such as Python, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Experience with agentic AI and a strong grasp of AI security.
• Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

Nice to have

• Understanding of RBAC, OAuth, Zero Trust architectures, and mTLS.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Bazel, Buildkite, and Spacelift.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless workloads like Cloudflare Workers.
• Experience operationalizing security platforms such as Wiz.
