What you will do

• Lead the platform engineering team, owning hiring, performance management, and career growth.
• Own the end-to-end infrastructure roadmap and technical strategy to balance speed and reliability.
• Accelerate engineering velocity through self-service infrastructure, CI/CD optimization, and developer tooling.
• Raise reliability and security standards via zero-trust IAM, comprehensive observability, and institutional-grade SLOs.
• Partner with product and protocol teams to translate infrastructure trade-offs into business impact.
• Set engineering culture through IaC standards, clear architectural documentation, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 8+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering, including 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Proven track record of scaling production infrastructure from startup to enterprise scale.
• Deep technical fluency in Kubernetes, GitOps, event-driven architectures, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
• Location: Must be based in a region between -5h GMT and +2h GMT to ensure team overlap.
