What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 8–10 software engineers, overseeing hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Design and operate a platform for provisioning and securing thousands of data planes across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Translate product and engineering strategy into actionable roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage release readiness, including quality gates, go/no-go decisions, and Sev1/Sev2 incident management.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and SRE teams to improve platform reliability, observability, and deployment automation.
• Maintain engineering discipline across CI/CD, design reviews, testing, and technical debt management.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including coaching and performance management.
• 3-5+ years of experience delivering complex software systems in SaaS, cloud platforms, or distributed systems.
• Experience building backend services and APIs using Go, Java, C#, or Python.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
