What you will do

• Lead and nurture a team of high-impact engineers, providing technical guidance and cultural mentorship.
• Oversee the quality, performance, and timely delivery of mission-critical data services and infrastructure.
• Engineer and optimize ETL pipelines handling real-time transformation of petabytes of structured and unstructured data.
• Architect data models to maintain sub-second latency for querying complex blockchain datasets.
• Manage the deployment and monitoring of large-scale database clusters for high availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to design and refine new data models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in conceiving and implementing distributed system architecture from ideation to production.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL or SparkSQL.
• Expertise in data stores such as ClickHouse, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Redis, or Neo4j.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT) and streaming technologies (Spark, Kafka, Flink).
• Competence in cloud infrastructure using Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog.
• Must be based in North America.
• Applied AI fluency is a baseline expectation.
