Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense)

Location: Must have an active bar license in the State of Texas; remote, hybrid, or onsite options available (Office in Dallas, TX)

Salary: $100,000 – $145,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop compelling case strategies to drive results in insurance defense.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Maintain professional communication and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across all experience levels.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys to support team growth.

Requirements

• Active bar license in the state of Texas.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 1–8 years of litigation experience, including case strategy and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in insurance defense.
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
