What you will do
- Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including performance commentary and variance insights.
- Build budgets, forecasts, and the annual operating plan to guide business decision-making.
- Analyze drivers of variance between forecast and actuals and partner with stakeholders on strategic responses.
- Operationalize key financial metrics and models in collaboration with Pricing, Inventory, and Business Intelligence teams.
- Monitor the performance of critical business functions, including marketing spend, revenue collection, and partner payouts.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and market research on pricing and promotions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or a financial strategy role at a scaling tech company.
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL and/or Snowflake for data self-service.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills for creating executive-ready outputs.
- Solid understanding of P&L mechanics and key financial drivers.
- Clear written, visual, and verbal communication skills to translate analysis into decisions.
- Must be based in or able to work from Charlotte (CLT).
Nice to have
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Anaplan.
