Associate Systems Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Support cloud and on-premises infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and enterprise systems.
• Assist senior engineers with system design, deployment, maintenance, testing, change validation, and implementation.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, reliability, and operational alerts.
• Troubleshoot incidents across cloud, server, identity, storage, virtualization, application, and network layers.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operating procedures, system records, and implementation plans.
• Support security, patching, backup, recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, and routine administration automation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least two years of systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience, or equivalent qualifications.
• Working knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience or familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, enterprise storage, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, certificates, access control, patching, vulnerability remediation, logging, and encryption.
• Experience with PowerShell or another scripting and automation tool, plus backup, recovery, monitoring, alerting, change management, and technical documentation.
• Must participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and must obtain and maintain any required gaming license and pass applicable background checks.

Nice to have

• Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, security, or another relevant technical certification.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, SQL Server, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, AWS CloudWatch, or ITSM tools.
