Cost Accountant (Medtech)

What you will do

• Create monthly cost entries for General Ledger closings and reconciliations.
• Analyze inventory receipts, material usage, and freight costs to ensure accurate COGS reporting.
• Monitor and research manufacturing variances, including PPV, yield, and scrap.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to control and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Manage inventory tracking, WIP accruals, and quarterly E&O reviews.
• Prepare account analysis reports for inventory and cost-related subsidiary accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with Standard Cost experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without immigration sponsorship (no H1B, TN, STEM, OPT, etc.).
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Pawtucket, RI.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Advanced English proficiency.
