Senior Accountant – General Ledger & Revenue Operations

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Annual base pay: $100,000–$170,000 USD, with potential discretionary bonus and options.

What you will do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account analysis.
• Maintain audit-ready accounting documentation, improve internal controls, and support annual financial statement audits.
• Help revamp the end-to-end order-to-cash process from contract execution through billing, collections, cash application, and revenue recognition.
• Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and automation opportunities while improving NetSuite and related systems.
• Monitor revenue performance, build projections and forecasting models, and analyze actual results against forecasts.
• Track and reconcile sales commissions and support scalable processes for new products, pricing models, and commercial structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 4 or more years of experience in finance or a similar business role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including maintaining complex spreadsheets and analyzing data.
• Experience creating financial and operational models.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint for communicating recommendations.
• Experience with NetSuite and AI tools.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Prior experience at a Big Four or accounting firm.
