Staff Cost Accountant

Salary: $62,400–$93,300 annually based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Prepare and record journal entries for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
• Reconcile inventory balances across physical counts, ERP records, and the general ledger.
• Analyze excess and obsolete inventory, inventory aging, and reserve adjustments.
• Review and close completed manufacturing work orders and analyze cost variances.
• Coordinate recurring reviews with operations, supply chain, and finance stakeholders.
• Support cost accounting audits and improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or cost accounting.
• Working knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and required experience with Oracle ERP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
