What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations, including fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage inventory accounting, COGS recognition, and valuation.
• Support external audit processes through the preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff while collaborating cross-functionally with FP&A and HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
• Must work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA and comply with U.S. export controls.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Experience in government contracting, technology, or manufacturing.
• Prior involvement in system implementations or upgrades.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting standards.
