Data Scientist/Statistician (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid work model with on-site and off-site work at hirify.global sites in Phoenix, Arizona, or Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Annual salary: $116,010–$228,070 USD

What you will do

• Apply statistical methodologies and data analysis to support semiconductor process development and change-control decisions.
• Use predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, and other techniques to analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Develop software, algorithms, experiments, and data-driven applications that convert data into actionable hirify.globalligence.
• Improve process capability, matching, stability, and control systems across semiconductor technologies.
• Partner with factory automation and functional analytics teams to solve process and integration problems.
• Support causal inference, pattern discovery, and data-informed business decisions.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in statistics or data science.
• 2+ years working with quality systems, including process control or change-control systems.
• Experience with data analytics and machine learning using Python, R, JMP, or similar tools, plus relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with PowerBI or similar dashboards.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, troubleshooting, training, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with fault detection systems or factory automation systems.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of JSL, Python, Spark, NiFi, Hadoop, HBase, S3 object storage, Kubernetes, or REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
