Data Scientist I (AI/ML)

Projected compensation: $66,456.39–$115,554.76 annually.

What you will do

• Transform raw data into insights, decision-support tools, metrics, and actionable recommendations.
• Help onboard, operate, and transition large-scale data science and AI/ML models in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Support reliable, secure pipelines for data, software, and algorithm delivery across domains.
• Analyze unstructured and semi-structured data using techniques such as latent semantic indexing, entity identification, tagging, complex event processing, and distributed analytics.
• Process and index high-volume data collections and high-velocity data streams.
• Support the development and deployment of applications, data management plans, advanced data fusion, and automated workflow solutions.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Entry-level profile with a bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience, or equivalent high-school-level experience of 6–8 years.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in solving technical problems.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with or understanding of cloud-based tools for data analysis.

Nice to have

• Degree in engineering, computer science, data science, imaging science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field.
• Experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, data clustering, data mining, statistics, predictive analytics, and reporting.
• Experience with Python, R, MATLAB, Java, Linux, Ruby, .NET, C#, C++, or Fortran.
• Experience with textual processing, entity extraction, conceptual search, visual analytics, or Unix/Linux scripting.
