Network Planning Technical Project Manager (AI)

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

What you will do

• Own the connectivity lifecycle from initial site opportunity assessment through to final Outside Plant infrastructure delivery.
• Lead the technical validation of long-haul wave proposals and dark fiber options to inform Datacenter and PoP selections.
• Design fiber pathway architecture, including manhole placements, conduit systems, and site entry points.
• Manage strategic relationships and negotiate IRU agreements, long-term leases, and MOFN service structures with ISPs.
• Maintain internal databases of fiber routes and geospatial documentation using AutoCAD and KMZ/KML files.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on the layout of Point of Entry (POE) and Meet-Me Rooms (MMR).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure, OSP planning, or data center connectivity project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and reviewing site infrastructure and conduit designs.
• Advanced ability to work with geospatial tools and KMZ/KML files.
• Strong grasp of DWDM technology, ILA requirements, and MOFN deployments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of the regional fiber landscape and utility right-of-way.
• Experience with large-scale 100Tbps+ capacity planning and deployment.
• Ability to read and create code in Python or Go.
• Knowledge of service provider or datacenter IP Networking.
