What you will do

• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale Hadoop and cloud computing clusters.
• Support next-generation cyber and AI/ML capabilities on large-scale compute infrastructure.
• Manage Linux-based systems, including user accounts, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and TFTP configurations.
• Utilize configuration management tools like Puppet and SALT for system automation.
• Perform hardware diagnosis and repair using remote utilities and BIOS-level configuration.
• Collaborate within a mission-focused team to follow SOPs and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or 5 additional years of experience).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in systems administration.
• At least 1 year of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>1000 nodes).
• 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Must hold a relevant Cloud System/Service Certification (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CKA).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker.
• Knowledge of log aggregation tools like Elasticsearch and Grafana.
• Familiarity with software load balancers like Nginx and HAProxy.
• Understanding of low-level network concepts including VLANs and switch interactions.
