DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Austin, TX; hybrid

What you will do

• Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid, and edge environments.
• Build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Pulumi, and Ansible using GitOps workflows and automated validation.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters for AI/ML workloads, including GPU scheduling and container security.
• Develop secure CI/CD pipelines with SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management.
• Support MLOps infrastructure, observability, incident response, reliability improvements, and disaster recovery planning.
• Create reusable infrastructure modules and documentation while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, software engineering, or a related technical role.
• Familiarity with Docker, Infrastructure as Code, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Git, and modern software development workflows.
• Basic programming or scripting experience with Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, cloud security, identity, permissions, and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience or exposure to Kubernetes, multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments, AI/ML or MLOps infrastructure, and edge computing.
• Familiarity with Istio, Linkerd, cloud cost optimization, or distributed systems.
• Entry-level certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, Azure Fundamentals, or Terraform Associate.
