Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer

Location: Remote, USA

Salary: $143,000–$197,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Build machine learning and generative AI platforms used by teams across the company.
• Create scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend infrastructure.
• Develop services that expose machine learning and AI products.
• Deploy and manage applications in production.
• Lead cross-functional projects, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
• Write production code and collaborate with therapists, data scientists, engineers, and product managers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience delivering production-ready products.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with modern asynchronous web frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Experience with data streaming using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases, and low-latency databases.
• Experience building RAG-based AI solutions and setting up and maintaining vector databases.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks and foundation model APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock.

Nice to have

• Experience with graph databases, GraphRAG, LLM observability, Langfuse, Celery, or Protobuf.
• Production experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience handling highly sensitive data in a healthcare environment.
