What you will do

• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and power distribution layouts for packaged equipment, skids, and control cabinets.
• Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Size and specify electrical components, motors, sensors, transformers, and safety relays based on load requirements and NEC/IEC standards.
• Conduct point-to-point checks, functional testing, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) before delivery.
• Collaborate with mechanical and packaging design teams to ensure proper thermal management and enclosure integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, machinery manufacturing, or modular equipment packaging.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Knowledge of industrial control panel standards including UL508A, NFPA 79, and NEC.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Waller, Texas.
