Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering, Okta (Identity Security)

Location: Primary location in Dublin, Ireland; hybrid role with 40% travel expected

Salary: €140,000–€190,000 annual OTE for candidates located in Ireland, including base and incentive compensation

What you will do

• Lead and scale a Solutions Engineering team across multiple regions.
• Coach team members and support professional growth and career development.
• Build effective partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, HR, Finance, Operations, and Recruitment.
• Plan workforce capabilities, budgets, hiring strategies, interviews, case studies, and offers.
• Support technical customer discussions and demonstrations while remaining hands-on with technical questions.
• Represent field feedback to Product and collaborate with peer managers on best practices and scaling strategy.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing high-performing pre-sales teams.
• Experience managing Middle Eastern and/or African markets.
• Experience recruiting in a high-growth environment.
• Experience in pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or Sales Engineering combining technical detail with value selling.
• Comfort building and presenting technical demonstrations and leading technical customer discussions.
• Familiarity with the MEDDICC sales qualification framework.

Nice to have

• Security or identity technology experience, including IAM, CIAM, VPN, MDM, Active Directory, or LDAP.
• Knowledge of the Okta platform and competing products.
