What you will do

• Generate and maintain complex layout designs for photonic integrated circuits.
• Perform quality control and mask reviews to ensure design integrity.
• Develop automated layout tools, including design rule checks and custom scripts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external foundry partners.
• Bridge the gap between device design and semiconductor fabrication processes.

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in electrical engineering, material sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience using layout editors such as L-Edit, DW2000, or Cadence.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C/C++ or Python.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with semiconductor wafer fabrication methods (III-V, Si).
• Understanding of semiconductor device physics and principles.
• Experience in design rule checking and layout verification tools.
