Analog Layout Designer (RF)

Location: Onsite in Irvine, California, USA

Annual base salary: $108,000–$172,800

What you will do

• Develop block-level and IP-level analog layouts for advanced-node designs.
• Create floorplans and layouts for analog modules including SerDes, ADC/DAC, and PLLs.
• Perform top-level integration and coordinate implementation with circuit designers and the global layout team.
• Apply analog layout concepts for deep-submicron processes and account for fabrication requirements.
• Debug DRC, LVS, and antenna errors while addressing ESD, latch-up, and electromigration concerns.
• Determine methods for complex assignments and coordinate activities of other personnel when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in analog or RF layout.
• Strong knowledge of analog layout concepts, deep-submicron processes, fabrication processes, ESD, latch-up, and electromigration.
• Strong skills debugging DRC, LVS, and antenna errors.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with circuit designers and layout teams.
• Onsite work in Irvine, California, USA is required.

Nice to have

• FinFET experience.
• Experience with Cadence tools.
• Experience with TSMC processes.
