What you will do

• Conduct individual and group alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive records.
• Perform intake and readmission services for new and returning patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Ensure adherence to program policies and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Participate in in-service training and community relations activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a related Human Services field required.
• Must be able to work onsite in Hazard, KY.
• Ability to make effective decisions and exercise judgment regarding sensitive patient issues.
• Understanding of human behavior and substance abuse population needs.
• Compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding licensure and certification.
