Product Manager - Data Platform (Azure/Databricks)

Location: Remote cooperation within Poland; the listed location is Warsaw, Poland.

What you will do

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform.
• Drive the development of cloud-based data environments using Azure, Databricks, and related technologies.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Lead FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization, and budgeting processes.
• Improve DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code standards.
• Manage technology vendors, procurement, contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders, and invoice validation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing a data platform or technical product.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, or similar cloud data ecosystems.
• Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with stakeholder management, technology vendors, contracts, procurement, budgeting, and financial governance.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance, or Lakehouse architecture.
• Azure, FinOps, or Product Management certifications.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, dbt, or Atlan.
• Familiarity with GDPR, the AI Act, and modern data governance standards.
