Product Manager (API/Data)

Location: London, with hybrid flexibility and up to 3 months of annual work abroad

What you will do

• Define the vision and strategy for external data distribution through APIs, data shares, cloud sync, and pub/sub.
• Decide which datasets to expose, how to structure them, and which delivery channels and launch sequence to use.
• Design the developer experience, including API schemas, documentation, developer portals, sandboxes, error handling, rate limiting, and versioning.
• Work with analytics engineering and domain teams on schemas, data models, transformation logic, reliability, freshness, and accuracy.
• Co-develop and validate data products with enterprise partners through pilots, POCs, and technical integrations.
• Shape usage-based pricing, packaging, entitlements, access controls, monitoring, metering, SLAs, and data usage policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years building API, data platform, or data distribution products at a B2B company.
• Experience designing APIs for external consumers, including schema design, versioning, rate limiting, and developer documentation.
• Experience owning the full lifecycle of data products, from data exposure and schema design through commercial packaging and onboarding.
• Understanding of data pipelines, warehouses, ETL/ELT, data modelling, and platforms such as Snowflake.
• Comfortable using SQL and Python to validate data quality, analyze usage patterns, and inform product decisions.
• Experience with enterprise POCs, partner-led GTM, cross-functional leadership, and commercial data products.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with credit markets, debt instruments, or buy-side and sell-side financial data usage.
• Experience with Snowflake data sharing, marketplace listings, entitlements, licensing, redistribution terms, or AI usage policies.
