What you will do

• Manage strategic vendors to lower costs, improve the supply chain, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Develop and execute prioritized vendor marketing plans to maximize margins and customer experience.
• Scale and automate vendor interactions, including identifying new vendors and catalog management.
• Audit performance metrics and evaluate products to ensure high-quality customer experience.
• Lead cross-functional projects to implement scalable solutions for customer pain points.
• Partner with internal teams to propose annual plans for multiple vendors and categories.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Vendor Management, or Purchasing.
• Experience in retailing, the pet industry, or e-commerce.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to structure complex facts.
• Proven ability to influence business partners and manage complex vendor issues.
• Fluent in English and German (B2 or above).
• Ability to work from the Munich office 60% of the time.
