Location: Must be based in or able to work from Melsungen, Germany (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Formulate and implement a global category strategy for logistics services including transportation and warehousing.
- Conduct profound analysis of spending and supplier portfolios to identify innovation and technology trends.
- Lead cross-functional category working groups and facilitate category councils.
- Execute strategic sourcing, including tenders, negotiations, and contract management.
- Monitor team KPIs and drive supplier innovation to achieve bundling effects and synergies.
- Represent procurement towards external business partners and higher management.
Requirements
- University degree in logistics management, business administration, economics, or related field.
- Professional experience in transportation or warehousing logistics (forwarder, carrier, or shipper industry).
- Proficient understanding of end-to-end procurement processes (Plan-to-Strategy, Source-to-contract).
- Confident in professional application of English (spoken and written).
- Basic understanding of change management and procurement standards.
- Ability to work in an international and intercultural business environment.
