What you will do

  • Formulate and implement a global category strategy for logistics services including transportation and warehousing.
  • Conduct profound analysis of spending and supplier portfolios to identify innovation and technology trends.
  • Lead cross-functional category working groups and facilitate category councils.
  • Execute strategic sourcing, including tenders, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Monitor team KPIs and drive supplier innovation to achieve bundling effects and synergies.
  • Represent procurement towards external business partners and higher management.

Requirements

  • University degree in logistics management, business administration, economics, or related field.
  • Professional experience in transportation or warehousing logistics (forwarder, carrier, or shipper industry).
  • Proficient understanding of end-to-end procurement processes (Plan-to-Strategy, Source-to-contract).
  • Confident in professional application of English (spoken and written).
  • Basic understanding of change management and procurement standards.
  • Ability to work in an international and intercultural business environment.
