Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial (Data Replication)

Location: Based out of the Dublin office with a hybrid schedule requiring two days in the office each week

What you will do

• Understand commercial customers’ business needs, use cases, and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations for commercial audiences.
• Lead organized proof-of-value processes and secure technical wins throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and cross-functional organizations while maintaining strong customer focus.
• Identify technical requirements, remove advanced technical or business roadblocks, and drive product improvements.
• Stay current with technologies and trends in data infrastructure and analytics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, BI tools, and self-hosted applications.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases, plus ETL or other data replication tools.
• Hands-on networking experience in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience developing partner relationships.
• Specialized security expertise.
• Experience with self-hosted and SaaS applications.
• Hands-on experience with dbt.
