What you will do

• Provide day-to-day HR generalist support to employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, probation reviews, internal movements, and employee exit activities.
• Manage employee relations by gathering information, maintaining documentation, and advising on policies.
• Ensure all HR practices and records remain compliant with Malaysian employment legislation.
• Partner with Compensation, Benefits, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll teams to deliver consistent HR services.
• Maintain HRMS data and utilize analytics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in an HR generalist, HR operations, or HRBP support role.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Working knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and country-specific HR regulations.
• Experience using an HRMS or HRIS (Workday experience is preferred).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or Thai.
• Exposure to employment practices in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, or Singapore.
• Experience working in a regional, multinational, or shared-services environment.
• Interest in using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve productivity.
