HR Business Partner (Robotics)

What you will do

• Act as the primary HR partner for Engineering, Hardware, and Software leaders.
• Coach technical managers on goals, execution rhythms, feedback, 1:1s, and career conversations.
• Support performance management, employee relations, organisational design, and workforce planning.
• Develop technical career frameworks, promotion criteria, and individual contributor and management tracks.
• Identify retention risks in critical technical roles and implement targeted plans.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations on technical hiring and core people processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting technical teams.
• Experience with Engineering, Hardware, Software, or AI/ML organisations.
• Strong skills in organisational design, workforce planning, manager coaching, performance management, and employee relations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influence, judgment, and execution skills.
• Ability to operate with empathy and high standards in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in deep-tech, robotics, embedded systems, or hardware and software organisations.
• Experience building or refining leveling frameworks and IC and management career tracks.
• Familiarity with engineering operating models, including on-call, incident management, and postmortems.
